Today we discussed the Carbon, Nitrogen, and Water cycles in depth and we talked about different web pages where they can be found. Below is a web site with all of the different earth cycles and how they work.
Be aware...you will have a quiz on the cycles soon!
Happy Studying!

In my yard I have a pond that gets filled up with rain. After a few days, it evaporates into the air and it empties. This is an example of precipitation.

Just so you can keep on track with your postings...I want you to look at both web pages that I posted so you can see and study each of the cycles. I like the observations of the cycles that you have done thus far. Keep it up.

OHHH AND this is another story:
I left this green wagon in my backyard, and one day it rained REALLY hard so the bucket was filled with water. In the course of the week the water level started to decrease as the sun was out.

and it stays there for a long time
In our backyard we have a compost heap. After a few months the leaves turn to dirt. The middle of the heap is much warmer than the outside, even when it's cold outside. That is an example of decomposition.
