5th Grade Life Science Introduction
Today in class we read about and discussed what Life Science is and what Life Scientists do. I would like you to discuss at home tonight the importance of Life science in the world today with your parents or an adult and post the thoughts you are able to come up with on the blog. I think Life Science is important because it is very important to know what causes people and animals to be disformed, what causes diseases, ext. Sometimes people don't know what causes things about life and Life Scientists find out. This is very important to know because it can help prevent disformation, diseases, ext.

I think LIfe Science is very important.Animals and plants are needed in our world because both help to protect our world and keep it growing.It's important we study them because they may be needed for our survival
Life science is important because of the relation of humans, animals, and plants. This understanding of flora and fauna. This is also important to not destroy our rain forests because the rain forests are shelter and protection for animals. This is if only a few animals live the plants don't get enough Carbon dioxide to survive. Then if the plants cannot do photosynthesis they would not give out air for animals to survive.

Life Science
Without life science we might not have as much information on things such as animals, plants, and surgery. Anything that is living is part of Life Science. Scientists are trying to figure out how animals are having disabilities. There are many different scientists that study Life Science. Some examples of different scientists are botanists which is the study of plants, zoologists which is the study of animals, Genetics which is the study of heredity, and medicine which is the study of being a doctor or a veterinarian. My mom thinks I might be a zoologist because I am interested in animals.
Some people think botany is boring but in Walt Disney World’s Epcot, they have a new way of growing fruits and vegetables by growing them up and down and even spiral. They also have a name for the exhibit and it is called “horti-tainment”. When I went there I saw it and it was amazing what they had done because they had shaped watermelons and pumpkins into Mickey Mouse ears and I thought that it was so cool. I think life science is particularly important these days because of the envoriment. We need to find out so many things that life scientists try and figure out. Like the effect of pesticides on animals and the effect of global warming on humans. More study on life science could help us live healther and in a better place.
Life science is also important because many people of dieing of sicknesses such as AIDS and cancer.

I think that life science is important because it helps us understand why living things have deformities. With this information, the life scientist may be able to find a cure for diseases such as AIDS.
Life science is important because scientists can help save the world from different things. For example doctors can find new ways 2 fight diseases and other scientists could find ways 2 stop global warming. Also scientists could find ways 2 save other living organisms like deformed animals and endangered species.
My mom thinks life science is important because it helps to better understad the building blocks of life. It helps explain how creatures grow, change, reproduce, and survive. Regardless of how complex or simple they are. Studying life science helps us to understand our humaness.

Life science is cool because without it we wouldn't know how we breathe. Also without it it would be very hard to protect endangered animals.
